Local ZCEC Scholarship
For the 2024-25 school year, The Zonta Club of Essex County is offering several scholarship awards of varying amounts to female high school graduating seniors and other eligible candidates who plan to attend a college or university. Acceptance at a college or university is required in order to be awarded the scholarship.
Dorothea R Hoffner Continuing Education Scholarship
The Zonta Club of Essex County has established the Dorothea R. Hoffner Continuing Education Award to be awarded to a woman who
shows particular interest in education, especially as a way to promote the goals of other young women. This is not necessary but may increase her chances. She must have been accepted for matriculation.

Zonta is dedicated to achieving gender equality in education and supports scholarships, fellowships and awards for women and girls pursuing education and careers in these traditionally male-dominated fields.
